The SPP Pharma & Life Sciences Chapter has officially launched Sustainability Impact: Recognizing Real-World Results – a new initiative to showcase and celebrate supplier sustainability successes across the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
From Accounting to Action
Supply chain sustainability in pharma and life sciences is no longer just a reporting exercise. Across the sector, suppliers are driving real decarbonisation, delivering nature-positive outcomes and creating meaningful social impact. The challenge has never been a lack of action – it’s been a lack of visibility.
This initiative exists to change that. By inviting suppliers to share their stories, the SPP Pharma & Life Sciences Chapter aims to build a collective body of practical insights that can inspire, inform and accelerate progress across the community – and beyond.
Three Recognition Categories
Submissions will be considered across three categories, open to both large organisations and SMEs:
- Decarbonisation
- Nature
- Social Impact
We are looking for practical, measurable examples that demonstrate real-world impact, collaboration, innovation and scalability – and lessons that others across the sector (and beyond) can replicate.
How Selected Case Studies Will Be Recognised
Selected case studies will be highlighted as leading examples of supplier sustainability in action, with the most impactful entries recognised and celebrated at a virtual recognition event on 13 October 2026. In addition, selected submissions may be featured in SPP’s The Guide and WBCSD’s Business Action Bank and Climate Drive – helping amplify your work to a broader global audience.
