That’s the spirit behind the Beyond The Guide Deepdive: Pharma & Life Sciences Supply Chain – a new resource born from collaboration, built on real-world experience, and created for procurement professionals navigating the complexities of sustainable supply chains.
This resource is the result of an initiative driven by the SPP Pharma & Life Sciences Chapter and led by SPP Champions Pfizer and AstraZeneca – that set out to do something simple but powerful: listen. Listen to suppliers. Listen to the people doing the work. Learn from their stories – what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what’s next.
The response was extraordinary. Over 65 suppliers contributed detailed case studies, offering insights from their sustainability journeys. From that pool, 53 case studies were selected for this Deepdive – a curated collection of stories, lessons, and practical advice designed to inspire and inform.
Building on The Guide
The Deepdive builds on the foundation of The Guide – an SPP initiative launched in 2023 by the SPP Champions Program to help procurement professionals cut through the noise and focus on what works. That same spirit of openness, courage, and commitment runs through every page of this new resource. What makes this Deepdive special is not just the content – it’s the process.
