About

The SPP Circularity Chapter supports procurement professionals in translating circular economy principles into practical sourcing and supply chain decisions that deliver value for people, planet and long-term economic performance.

The chapter focuses on real-world applications, working from real categories, materials, resources, infrastructure, and supply chain constraints. It connects circularity with procurement, operations, and business realities to ensure solutions are implementable, scalable, and economically viable.

Our focus areas include circular procurement and supply chain design, materials and resource strategy, and the integration of forward and reverse flows such as reuse, repair, and recycling. The chapter also considers the role of data, digitalization, automation, and AI in improving traceability, decision-making, and system performance.

The ambition is to make circularity practical and accessible for procurement professionals, supported by simple guidance, real examples, and collaboration across the SPP community.
