About

The SPP Circularity Chapter exists to help procurement professionals translate circular economy principles into practical sourcing and supply-chain decisions that deliver value for people, planet and long-term economic performance.

We focus on how procurement can:

  • Reduce pressure on natural resources and contribute to nature and biodiversity protection
  • Deliver fair and responsible outcomes for people and communities across value chains
  • Remain economically realistic, so circular solutions can scale and endure

The chapter is practitioner-driven. We work from real categories and real supply-chain constraints, turning circularity from ambition into practical action that procurement teams can implement immediately.

Our goals

  • Make circularity a practical and accessible topic for procurement and supplychain professionals
  • Build a trusted, non-commercial library of circular procurement resources aligned with SPP’s mission and values
  • Connect circularity with other SPP focus areas (climate, human rights, sector and country chapters) to ensure integration rather than silo thinking
