This session focuses on how supplier climate targets are translated into real-world decarbonization delivery, and the role procurement plays in enabling that journey. It provides a practical reference for moving from commitment and target validation to implementation across the supply base.
Key discussion points include:
- How procurement can lead a supplier decarbonization engagement programme
- What an effective supplier decarbonization journey looks like — from commitment and target-setting to validation and delivery
- How SBTi can act as a lever for supply chain decarbonization
- Practical corporate journeys and examples of supplier engagement aligned with procurement strategy
Participants will leave with a clear reference framework for a supplier decarbonization journey, and a stronger understanding of procurement’s role in enabling each step from target-setting through to measurable action.
