This session explores how top‑down global health commitments and bottom‑up procurement practice come together to drive sustainable transformation across the Health System Value Chain. It shows how international ambition—such as the COP26 health commitments—meets real‑world implementation through coordinated action from policymakers, connectors, and practitioner communities.

In this session, participants will hear about:

• Top‑down ambition: How ATACH is mobilising governments and policy drivers to advance climate‑resilient and sustainable health systems.
• Connecting mechanisms: How Health Proc Europe’s Alliance for Procurement Impact links buyers and suppliers to translate global goals into practical, scalable solutions.
• Bottom‑up practice: How SPP’s practitioner communities are contributing hands‑on insights to co‑create and test a Sustainable & Resilient Procurement Toolkit – and how you can get involved!
• How different actors across the value chain experience ambitions, challenges, and opportunities for collaborative action.
• The conditions and mechanisms needed to bridge global commitments with day‑to‑day procurement realities.

You will walk away with a clear understanding of how global commitments can move from high‑level ambition to practical, measurable change—powered by procurement‑led collaboration. You’ll also learn how to engage in the HPE–SPP collaboration to strengthen knowledge transfer and build ESG‑driven resilience across the Health System Value Chain.
