SPP Initiative | Sustainability Data Collaboration Initiative – Exploration Call

In collaboration with Rewired Earth, SPP is exploring the launch of a new SPP Initiative focused on unlocking the full value of sustainability data through a systemic, ecosystem-based approach.

The problem statement: Many businesses face significant challenges with sustainability data due to poor quality, fragmentation, and a lack of interoperability. This hinders effective decision-making and slows progress on sustainability goals. A systemic, ecosystem-based approach—like Rewired Earth’s—can address these issues by aligning stakeholders around shared data models, co-investment, and scalable, cross-sector solutions. Tangible innovations like Biaco demonstrate how collective efforts can reduce costs, improve outcomes, and drive both business growth and positive impact for people and the planet.

Following initial conversations at the SPP Champions Program, this exploration call gather potential collaborators from across the SPP Community and Ecosystem to co-define the scope of this initiative and identify community leaders to drive it forward.
