Sustainability is no longer a nice-to-have in procurement – it’s a strategic imperative. But how do we move from high-level ambition to real, measurable action? In this 45-minute session, we’ll explore what meaningful progress in sustainable procurement looks like – globally and on the ground. The session will include two short speaker spotlights: from Charlie Wigglesworth, Managing Director at Telos and Deputy CEO of Social Enterprise UK, sharing reflections on the current state of social procurement and insights from his recent World Economic Forum article, and Elena Heckmann, Procurement Supplier Impact and Sustainability Manager at Accenture, offering practical guidance on embedding sustainability into day-to-day procurement operations in large organisations. With audience Q&A and key takeaways to close, this session will leave attendees with both inspiration and actionable ideas.
