This session launches a new study commissioned by WWF Switzerland, WWF Austria and WWF Germany and conducted by 3Keel. It explores the potential of collective action at landscape level to address biodiversity and water risks in fresh produce supply chains and to strengthen long-term resilience.
Key discussion points include:
- The limitations of certification and individual supplier programmes in addressing biodiversity and water risks at landscape level
- Levers and pathways for scaling collective landscape action to mitigate supply risks
- Practical examples and key messages from the study for procurement teams focused on systematic resilience building
Participants will gain insight into how Collective Landscape Engagement can manage water and biodiversity supply risks that farm-level action alone cannot address, and what this means for procurement strategies in fresh produce supply chains.
