In this webinar\, Andrew Mayock\, Chief Sustainability Officer at the White House Council on Environmental Quality\, will provide an overview of the Federal Government’s sustainable procurement initiatives under the Biden-Harris Administration\, including the Federal Buy Clean Initiative\, the U.S. Government’s transition to 100% 24/7 carbon-free electricity\, and electrification of the Federal Government’s vehicle fleet. Steven Rothstein\, Managing Director of Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets\, will provide an overview of sustainable procurement rulemakings of the Biden-Harris Administration\, with a focus on the sustainable products procurement rule finalized in April 2024 and the supplier climate risk disclosure rule proposed in October 2022.
