SUMMARY:SPP x HPE | Connecting the Health System Value Chain: The Procurement Lense - Working Group Session
DESCRIPTION:SPP has joining forces with Health Proc Europe (HPE) under the Alliance for Procurement Impact (API) in 2026\, contributing procurement practitioner insights through its Pharma & Life Sciences and Public Procurement Chapters to co-create and test a Sustainable & Resilient Procurement Toolkit. \nThe goal: to break down silos\, empower open peer-to-peer conversations and strengthen supply chains across Europe and North America (and beyond) in line with the EU Green Transition and Critical Medicines Act. \nThis working group of procurement practicioners from the pharma\, medical device and medical equipment industry is meeting virtually regularly to identify with peers the obstacles\, enabling conditions and collaborative mechanisms required to scale impact along the Health System Value Chain. \nIf you would like more informtion about this working group – or would like to join – please send a message to kathrin@spp.earth.  \n  \nDive into the topic: \nAt World Sustainable Procurement Day in March 2026 we brought together top-down global health commitments and bottom-up procurement initiatives to explore where to connect the dots and drive sustainable transformation across the health system value chain.
